Cortex vs ProBot
ProBot is one of the largest multipurpose bots by install count, known for welcome images, in-depth logging, self-assignable roles and a free leveling system. Cortex covers the same ground but keeps music, economy, tickets and AI chat in the same free tier instead of splitting protection and customisation into paid tiers.
Where ProBot fits
ProBot positions itself around welcome images, embeds, self-assignable roles and moderation, with a documented free tier and two paid premium tiers. Premium is aimed at protection — temporary links, invite-based auto-role and anti-raid — plus a personalised bot, rather than at unlocking everyday commands.

Questions
Does ProBot have music?
ProBot's own documentation does not list a dedicated music module. If persistent music is a requirement, Cortex provides it as a first-class feature with a queue and filters rather than as an add-on.
Is ProBot really free?
Yes — its welcome, embed, role and leveling features work without paying. The paid tiers are aimed at protection (temporary links, invite auto-role, anti-raid) and at running a personalised bot, so the free tier is usable but not the full feature set.
Should I switch from ProBot?
If welcome images and a custom bot are what you use, there is no reason to. Switch if you are paying for anti-raid, or if you want music, economy, giveaways and AI chat in one free bot.
